Bumblebees
There was an article in The Independant about bumblebees and the problems they are having. Apparently 3 UK species have become extinct and 5 and getting there. You can't actually read the whole article without paying so I will kind of summarise here from what I can remember and what I have found out. You can support the Bumblebee Conservation Trust by joining it here. If you join you ...

Fusion Hits Stores. Pandemonium Over Crazy Orange Package! - Gizmodo
Fusion Hits Stores. Pandemonium Over Crazy Orange Package! – Gizmodo – Since Christmas I have reverted to an old fashioned single bladed razor and brush that I was given as a present. I have noticed an improvement it the quality of my shave since I did this. It was a bit of a worry when I first started using it as I was concerned that I would cut my ...

Bought this book over the weekend. It’s pretty interesting. Apparently the average woman ingests 1kg of lipstick over the course of her life. This book covers virtually everything to do with leading a ‘good life’ – apart from perhaps religion – I don’t think it misses much there though! It does’nt say anything is righ or wrong just tries to give you ...

Cut cleaning costs
Cut cleaning costs – We try and buy eco friendly cleaning stuff – mainly ecover – some of the products smell lovely. I really like the linseed floor cleaner. Anyway I am always looking out for recipes for cleaning stuff to try out and a came across this on the Friends of the Earth site. My other half was looking for something to clean windows and low ...

The F-Word
The F-Word – as it says on the page: “If you want to tell your supermarket what you think about their attitude towards consumer health – or any other issues – then contact them” Or you could use this handy form provided by FoE to email the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry about the supermarket problem!

Supermarkets lose out as organic food booms
Supermarkets lose out as organic food booms – this is the kind of thing I like to read. Organic food getting more popular and more of it being sourced in the UK!

The Cocaine Jungle
The Cocaine Jungle – I caught a bit of this last night. It was interesting that one of people interviewed said that if you buy cocaine you are killing people in Columbia. If a load of celebrities got behind this idea like they did fur imagine what could happen. Although at the moment it seems most of them are too busy stuffing it up their noses.

Enchantrix Organic Products
Enchantrix Organic Products – These products don’t seem to be available in the UK. I like the receipes though. We have started using Ecover products around the house and everything smells alot nicer – I particularly like the smell of linseed in the floor cleaner. Ecover is surprisingly widely available. I have seen many of its products in at least 3 major supermarkets.Categories
