A campaign being run by the WWF to get the Climate Change Bill strengthened. Apparently they are going to build a giant paper plane and boat and deliver them to Parliament. These will be covered with the names of people who want the bill strengthened. You can probably see where the 'Get on board' tag line comes from now! It's ...

Wind Weekend
I'm busy next weekend with various bit and bobs but if you are then why don't you embrace some wind. Wind farms across the country are opening their doors so you can see what makes them tick. There is also a competition where you can win a years supply of electricity by taking a picture of you or your family at a wind farm. I'm sure ideally most people ...

CO2: This time it’s personal
CO2: This time it’s personal – interesting idea – I think making people face up to the problem would be good. Tax is not usually very popular – whereas this idea is pretty free – if you want to go on holiday you would need to save up your carbon allowance it doesn’t stop you going on holiday. Thinking about it I can see that airlines might not ...

I Vant to Drink Your Vatts - New York Times
I Vant to Drink Your Vatts – New York Times – A different perspective on leaving things on standby. I have to admit I have only been converted to switching things off properly recently. I do a leave my server on though – this is very small and doesn’t use as much power as a bigger computer. But everything else TV, set-top boxes all switched off at the ...Categories
