I thought this was quite amusing when I saw it (even thoug it is sponsored). The site is quite interesting too - you need flash. I don't think it would win any marks for accessibility but it's fun and gets the point across(if you have flash).

A campaign being run by the WWF to get the Climate Change Bill strengthened. Apparently they are going to build a giant paper plane and boat and deliver them to Parliament. Car Free Day - September 22nd

Car Free Day is coming up. There are various events going on around the world. for I try and make every day a car free day. Perhaps if you can't walk, get a bus or train you could try car sharing if you really need to get to where you are going using a car.

G8 Wait

Had a message off someone from Oxfam publicising a campaign they promoting called G8 Wait. Basically it's about the G8 leaders not fulfilling the promises they made about providing aid etc. These were made at the time of the Live8 concerts in 2005.
