I Vant to Drink Your Vatts – New York Times – A different perspective on leaving things on standby. I have to admit I have only been converted to switching things off properly recently. I do a leave my server on though – this is very small and doesn’t use as much power as a bigger computer. But everything else TV, set-top boxes all switched off at the socket! I am sure it has saved us some money off our electicity bill – I will let you know when we get the next bill!
